Social media marketing involves many different tasks: creating, publishing, scheduling, listening, monitoring, reporting, and much more. This can be overwhelming so it’s important to have a tool that helps streamline your workflow.
We recently tried out Metricool and it’s impressive. Launched in 2016, Metricool is an all-in-one social media management tool that allows you to schedule, analyse and monitor all of your channels. Features include a content planner, competitor analysis, hashtag tracker, and an AI assistant.
It’s got everything you need to organise and monitor your online content, including your website or blog, social media channels, and digital ad campaigns.
Pros:
- Content planner. The content planner is simple to use and customisable to suit your needs. It allows you to plan and schedule months of content in one place. And you can even preview your Instagram feed before you post!
- Analytics and reporting. It provides in-depth analytics and allows you to create customisable reports for you and your clients. What’s more is that Metricool also includes analytics for all posts scheduled using other tools or posted directly through the social media platforms.
- Mid price point with big features. The tool comes at an affordable price point compared to other tools out there but it also provides more features and supports more platforms than the alternatives.
Extra pro: you can schedule Twitter threads on Metricool!
Cons:
- The UI/UX feels outdated. Although it’s simple to use, the UI/UX feels a bit tired when compared to other tools that we’ve tried.
- Restricted features for free version. The free version is great to start with but there are lots of features that are restricted to the paid plans.
- Hashtag tracker add-on. Although this feature is useful, it can get quite expensive at 9.99 EUR for 24 hours per social network.
Metricool offers four pricing plans: Free, Starter, Advanced, and Enterprise. Each plan includes different features, benefits, and usage limits.
