Finding a time to book a meeting with someone can be painful. But did you know that Google Calendar has a feature that puts the ball back in their court?
Google Calendar is used by millions of people every day, but what you may not know is that you can create one (or more) bookable appointment schedule pages, allowing people to pick a slot to meet with you – so you don’t have to be the only one chasing times and schedules.
We’ve all had that conversation where it takes countless goes before you find a suitable date. It’s tiring and time consuming. But this is where Google’s ‘appointment slots’ comes in. The feature allows you to set up a block of appointments on your calendar that other people can reserve. For example, you can set aside two hours that you're available to meet with people in 30-minute slots. Others can then book one of the 30-minute slots within that time that works best for them. And once you’ve created your slots, a booking page is created, which you can share with anyone you like.
We encourage you to give it a go. Even if it frees up just enough admin time to make a cuppa and eat a biccie – it’s well worth it.
