Whether you believe AI should write all your organic content, or you think this is a job for your copywriter, one thing’s for certain – AI assistance is here to stay.
In reality, the near future will most likely be a combination of AI, and flesh and blood talent. However, what we’re not sure about is how Google and other search engines will treat the content generated by tools similar to ChatGPT in the long term.
Google’s main aim is for the content created to be of the highest quality – and to answer the searcher’s query effectively. AI tools like ChatGPT's main aim is to crunch unimaginable amounts of data and return the average of that data to the user. However, the quality of the content you’re getting in return is average.
It would seem that the human touch is essential to make sure that not only is the information accurate, but the content has some spark and charisma. It’s got to be fun to read, right?
So if you’re confused as to whether the content you’ve commissioned has been written by AI, why not give AI Content Detector a go? It’s a cool tool that separates the robot from the human. Depending on your industry, you probably want to aim for under 30% AI-generated content.
Here’s an example of my most recent piece of writing. It’s only got a 1% dusting of AI – and that was probably thanks to Grammarly helping me be a better English student! Why not give it a go?
